I was really excited to get this throw blanket to use at the end of my queen size bed. I live I Texas where it’s way too hot to layer a quilt in the summer (or most of the year), so I opted for the throw blanket. The item arrived feeling very stiff and noticeably drenched in fabric dye. I washed it on gentle cycle with non-chemical detergent in cold water, and dried on delicate / low heat. The throw came out looking faded and has a layer of “fuzz” on top. Instead of looking like the complimentary throw blanket I hoped for, it looks more like I’ve draped a a throw *rug* at the end of my bed. Not the look I was hoping for at $70 😞 I feel that I’ll have to get a replacement elsewhere and this will go into a storage bin in my living room. I do like the pattern, but this feels like soft burlap and looks old already.
